In Krzystof Kieslowski’s movie, Polish moviemaker,  Juliette Binoche plays Julie

Kielowski’s movie, launched in 1993,  tells the story of a woman (Juliette Binoche – Cesar Award Prize winner for this movie) who goes on with life after losing her husband and her daughter in a brutal car accident. In the attempt to deal with the pain and suffering, she decides to stay away from everything and everyone and becomes a stranger in Paris during her grieving process…when she gets envolved with an important unfinished work of her husband, a renouned musician. The narrative shows a deep melancholy feeling after the loss of a beloved one and the way Julie finds to reinvent herself and go on with her life.
